Hello, as spring gets nearer!
Another brief update, and hopefully more to come this month.
Well, I was sick for all of January and it put me out of commission on almost every front. But I’m getting healthy again and regaining stamina, and starting back to work. A long stretch of fevers and sweats in the middle of the cold, doctors couldn’t find a reason even with what seemed like every test under the sun! But I’m getting healthier each week.
I hope to be following up with news about Rafaela and Chontal (and our donation) this month.
But I wanted to get this note out and wish everyone a blessed ending to the winter season. I was passing this bush the other day, and took a video. Dozens of sparrows are singing in the bushes, even in the midst of the scarcity of winter. I think it’s because they’re programmed to know that the new buds of spring is coming soon. It reminds me of what I had to reach down for in tough moments in the cold and a long illness. The faith and hope that good new things would come from it.
Enjoy the video, have a blessed end of winter time, and feel free to share comments if any of this resonates with your winter experience.
God bless,
Jerome
